We interviewed NEIGHBOR who createdBuddy
――Tell us about the brand concept of NEIGHBOR. How did you start it?

In a word・・・ in order not to forget create for the "people".
We are a small factory to carry out the metalworking , such as aircraft parts.
It's been more than 40 years since we started the factory.
Through processing of countless orders, we learned a processing technology.
We have launched a "NEIGHBOR" for; "Not to forget create for the people"
"We want to bring a richness to people's lives by taking advantage of the technology that we have achieved."
We aim to create a pleasant products like a combination of a compassion of the neighbors with proven technology of craftsmen.
The products of NEIGHBOR was born from a compassion and the technology. We hope our products will enrich your life.
The cups were produced with Emiko Oki.

――Why did you choose "Ballpoint Pen"(3 types) as the first release,please tell us the most difficult part of the production.

We chose "Ballpoint Pen" because "We wanted to make a familiar product using a special material used in aircraft, and we want people to feel proud of it."

――The proportion of Koma business seemed increasing from around 2012 , but why is it Koma?

Our company Zion won "The All-Japan manufacturing coma competition" held in Yokohama in February 2013.
We started selling a well spinning Koma with precision of the technology because we want people to experience the greatness of the Japanese metalworking industry.

――What do you want to create by using aircraft parts and materials in the future?

We would like to make an accessories that to shine the grown man by possessing it.

――Please tell us about your impressions of the "C.J.MART".

I feel the passion of transmitting the creations.
Cherish goods and handling very well.

――Please comment for your fans and tell us what kind of plans and aspirations you have for the near future?

We would like to develop more "NEIGHBOR" products and introduce them through the exhibitions.
